That's his choice and that's fine, but if I was a driver I would prefer to have my real name on the car. Then you have Tony, who doesn't put his real name on his cars, he puts "Smoke" on them. I think it's perfectly fine for a Dad to have a nickname for his son, but it doesn't need to translate to national TV (unless the son refers to himself as that nickname). Seems to me the ones that keep that name alive are the Waltrips. that, but I think most fans know him as Jr. The one I don't like the most would be Junebug. But as a fan I rarely use nicknames when taking to other fans. ![]() long before it was cool to wear Patagonia as streetwear. I think the two most famous would be The Intimidator and The King. While some might claim the worst thing about Subaru drivers is how they wont shut up about. ![]()
